Claire feels fortunate to have called Victoria home for the past 20+ years.  She moved here in 1994 and first ran the Mocambo coffee shop, meeting many new people and quickly becoming a part of the local community.  After 10 years of successful operation, including winning the Times Colonist Best of the Island Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Coffee Shop and Best Barista in 2003 and 2004, she became a REALTOR® in 2004.

As a realtor, Claire’s kind manner, sincerity, and extensive experience in customer service has earned her the trust and appreciation of her many loyal clients.  In addition, her accounting background allows her to help her customers understand their financials so that they can make educated decisions.  Claire has extensive experience in both residential and commercial real estate and enjoys assisting her clients in finding businesses and homes that make sense to them.  She has earned numerous MLS® awards and much of her business comes by way of referrals from her countless loyal customers.  She measures her success as a REALTOR® not in dollar amounts, but in the genuine satisfaction of her clients.

Claire was born and raised in South Korea and has also lived in Ireland and the United States.  She attended Western Oregon University and received a degree in business, graduating at the top her class. With her degree she worked as an accountant for two years.  Since moving to Victoria, she has been actively involved in many community organizations.  She is the founder of the Victoria Korean Canadian Women’s Association and has been its president since its inception in 2012. She was also the President of the Victoria Korean Society from 2007-2009 and a member of the Rotary Club of Saanich from 2001-2007. Her position as a leader in the Korean community has been an important part of her life and she enjoys helping new residents navigate a future for themselves and their families.
